Cameron signs off on £13.8m Hagley scheme
Staffordshire-based house builder Cameron Homes says it’s on the lookout for more residential sites, after completing a Worcestershire housing development in just 18 months.
The firm signed off on the Hagley Manor scheme this month, a 26-home development on a 3.2-acre plot of land off Western Road in Hagley.
The site was allocated for residential development in Bromsgrove District Council’s adopted local plan, while outline planning permission for a residential scheme awarded in 2020.
Cameron Homes appointed Staffordshire-based White Ridge Architecture to design and submit a detailed planning application, which was approved in 2023.
Paul Morrisey, Cameron Homes’ operations director, said: “We are thrilled to see this wonderful development completed in only 18 months, with all 26 houses now lived-in family homes.
“As it is a sloping site, boundary retainment work was required to create the development area, prior to housebuilding commencing, which required specialist groundworks and site preparation.”
Cameron Homes is currently delivering over 200 homes across the region, with a pipeline of future sites expected to deliver around 1,000 new homes. However the firm says it’s actively seeking more sites for development,
“While we’ve finished building at Hagley Manor, we currently have 11 other development sites under construction across the Midlands,” added Guy Bebbington, managing director of Cameron Homes.
“We’re actively looking for more prime residential land in the locality, so that we can continue to meet local needs for high quality family homes.”
