Clowes signs off Castle Donington trade units

Clowes Developments announced completion of a major new phase at Stud Brook Business Park in Castle Donington, unveiling five industrial and trade counter units ready for occupation.

Lead contractor Roe Developments started work on the scheme in July 2025, part of a strategic expansion of the park, following planning approval from North West Leicestershire District Council earlier in the year.

Phase one of the scheme, a range of high-spec industrial and distribution units from 8,500 to 30,000 sq ft, achieved practical completion in June, with several firms including Shawpak, Almac Pharma and Hydroscand moving onto the site shortly afterwards.

James Richards, Director at Clowes Developments, said: “We are proud to present these brand-new trade counter units at Stud Brook Business Park, delivering much-needed, high-quality commercial space at a time when supply of small to mid-sized units remains extremely limited across the region.

“Our decision to build speculatively reflects our confidence in the local market and the strategic strength of Castle Donington as a business location. With excellent transport links and strong demand from a diverse range of occupiers, we anticipate significant interest in these new units and look forward to welcoming new businesses to the park.”
