Final deals complete as Spa Park hits full occupancy
The final two units on the 500,000 sq ft industrial park in Leamington Spa have now been let, according to developers Stoford, bringing the park to full occupancy.
The deals secure tenants for the last remaining speculatively developed units at the Tachbrook Road scheme, with the largest letting to digital health company HeliosX, who have signed a 10-year lease on a 50,000 sq ft facility that will be used for the storage of healthcare products.
AMS Distribution Centre Ltd, a specialist in logistics and distribution services, has also taken a 10-year lease on 30,000 sq ft at Unit 4 as it expands its operations.
Spa Park comprises nine, state-of-the-art units, delivering c.500,000 sq ft of logistics, distribution, production and R&D accommodation.
Current occupiers include Berry Global, Bladon Micro Turbines, General Motors, Opus International Products and Wickes.
Edward Peel, Director at Stoford, said: “Reaching full occupancy at Spa Park reflects the strong demand for high-quality, sustainable accommodation in a prime Midlands location.
“The scheme’s sustainable design, excellent specification and strong transport links have established it as a key commercial hub for Leamington Spa and the wider region, attracting new skills, expertise and job opportunities.”
Councillor Ella Billiald, portfolio holder for Arts and Economy at Warwick District Council, added: “It is fabulous news to hear that Spa Park is at full capacity. The Council is rightly proud of our vibrant business community and to attract innovative, environmentally conscious businesses to the District, whose values align with our own Corporate and Economic Development Strategies, is really encouraging.
“With such a great, local talent pool it is really positive to know that there are new skills, training and high-quality job opportunities available for our residents and future generations and wish all the businesses the greatest of success. Welcome to Warwick District.”
Spa Park was marketed by retained agents Bromwich Hardy, CBRE and M1 Agency.
