Hurstwood snaps up Lincolnshire print works
A 106,855 sq ft multi-let industrial and office complex in Horncastle has been sold in an undisclosed-value deal.
Manchester-based Hurstwood Holdings snapped up the Boston Road Industrial Estate building, roughly halfway between Lincoln and Boston, from former owners Mortons Print & Mailing – who remain tenants at the site.
Other occupiers include Spaceright Europe Limited, Quadrant Surveying Limited, B A Bush & Son Limited and a private gym operator. In addition, 11,017 sq ft of vacant accommodation provides immediate asset management and leasing opportunities, according to Hurstwood’s executive chairman, Stephen Ashworth.
“This is an excellent addition to our national portfolio and very much aligns with our strategy of acquiring well located multi let assets where our in house team can employ its proactive management strategies, working closely with existing occupiers and ensure it continues to provide high quality accommodation befitting the Hurstwood Holdings portfolio,” he said.
“The availability of vacant space also presents a clear opportunity for future rental growth and further enhancement of the asset over time in area that is set to benefit from new investment and development, which will strengthen the local offering of amenities.”
