Johnson makes switch to join Innes’ Birmingham office
Paradise-based surveying firm Innes England has strengthened its senior regional team with the appointment of a building consultancy director in Birmingham.
A builder surveyor, Andy Johnson joins the company from construction consultants MPP Group, where he spent five years. His 43-year career in construction and consultancy also includes roles at Mace, and Faithfull+Gould.
His experience includes serving as lead clerk of works for Jaguar Land Rover’s Triangle building at Gaydon, acting as estate planner at its Whitley plant, managing refurbishment projects at BMW’s Hams Hall facility, and advising Aston University and Wolverhampton University on estate strategies.
He began his new role as Building Consultancy Director with the Paradise-based firm this month.
Adam Rock, head of Innes England’s Birmingham office, said: “Andy’s appointment strengthens our team and increases the services we’re able to provide.
“The opportunity to provide project monitoring work from Birmingham complements our well-established valuation services. He’ll also be working in tandem with our lease consultants on building surveys, schedules of condition and dilapidation negotiations.”
