Keepmoat spins off south west office

National housebuilder Keepmoat has split its south-west region from its operations in the West Midlands, as part of significant growth plans centred around its new Bristol office.

The group, which has its headquarters in Doncaster, says the decision follows the acquisition of 10 new developments in the south west – with five of these due to progress next year and five more in pre-development.

Ben Leather, who joined Keepmoat as Regional Managing Director for the West Midlands in July 2024, will lead the new South West region.

Meanwhile in Birmingham, Shaun Fielding, who previously worked at Keepmoat for over 15 years, most recently as Regional Managing Director of the East Midlands region, will return to the housebuilder to head up the West Midlands team – which is also progressing five new sites into 2026.

Ben Leather, regional managing director for Keepmoat, South West, said: “This is a really exciting time for the business as we establish our tenth Region, a dedicated South West office, to deliver our new land acquisitions and progress ten new sites.

“This growth is testament to our success in the region as we continue to develop a strong pipeline of opportunities, bolster fantastic relationships with local authorities and our partners, and work to create sustainable new communities.”

Ian Hoad, chief executive at Keepmoat added: “We’re thrilled to be opening up a new office in the South West to support the fantastic work of Ben and his team in growing our presence across the region. This is a fantastic step forward for Keepmoat as we seek to grow the business and increase our output in the coming years.”
