Likewise exchanges contracts on £9.5m Corby shed
A Solihull-based flooring firm has snapped up a Northamptonshire logistics warehouse for £9.5m as part of its ongoing expansion.
Likewise Group has exchanged contracts on a 61,000 sq ft distribution hub at Corby’s Weldon North Industrial Estate, with completion expected on 21 August.
Developer EVO Industrial, which is backed by PBB Deutsche Pfandbriefbank, completed the EVO 60 development in July 2025.
Likewise Group says the building will significantly increase storage, cutting and trunking capacity on its logistics network when it starts operations, expected in January 2027.
Tony Brewer, chief executive of Likewise, said the deal was a “very important step in the development of Likewise Group.”
“With the support of existing and new shareholders, plus appropriate facilities from our principal bankers, it creates significant flexibility for the group to become a meaningfully larger business than we have currently,” he said.
“Importantly, [it will provide] capacity to all our manufacturing partners and the subsequent service levels to independent retailers and flooring contractors.”
