Nottingham takes £4bn regeneration pitch to MIPIM

Flagship opportunities include the 60-acre Broad Marsh redevelopment, alongside wider investment prospects such as the East Midlands Freeport, the Ambition Arnold programme and the East Midlands SuperCluster — all aimed at demonstrating the scale of regeneration and long-term investment potential across Nottingham and Nottinghamshire.

Megan Powell Vreeswijk, CEO of Marketing Nottingham and Nottinghamshire including Invest in Nottingham, said: “We are delighted to be representing Nottingham and Nottinghamshire at MIPIM once again, alongside valued public and private sector partners as part of Team Nottingham.
“MIPIM provides a global platform to showcase our regeneration’s pipeline of investment opportunities and growth ambitions. It’s a fantastic opportunity to attract inward investment to our region and as a result drive economic growth by creating jobs, developing infrastructure, and bringing in new technology and skills.”
Mayor of the East Midlands, Claire Ward added: “I’m going to strengthen partnerships with investors and developers who recognise Nottingham and the East Midlands as one of the most compelling opportunities in the UK. I want investors and developers to leave MIPIM certain of one thing: Nottingham and the East Midlands are irresistible to investment – serious, coordinated and ready to deliver.”
Cllr Neghat Khan, leader of Nottingham City Council, said: “Nottingham’s regeneration is transforming our city, building on our strengths in life sciences, innovation and sporting heritage. With a bold new vision and a £4 billion pipeline of homes and jobs, we’re proud that Team Nottingham is representing the home of Robin Hood at MIPIM, showcasing our ambition and securing partners for our next chapter.”
