Persimmon hires technical director for North Midlands

Alex Kenny has been appointed as Persimmon Homes North Midlands technical director, working out of the firm’s Leicester hub.

Kenny began his career as an engineer with Bellway Homes in 2005 and has since held a number of senior technical roles. He also previously spent three years as technical director at Persimmon Homes before going on to hold the same role at Redrow and Keepmoat.

Kenny returns to Persimmon after 11 years and will lead the technical team at its North Midlands business.

“I am really pleased to be returning to Persimmon after 11 years. Having started my career in housebuilding as an engineer, I’ve been fortunate to progress through a range of technical roles and gain valuable experience across the industry,” he said.

“I am looking forward to bringing that experience back to Persimmon, working with the team and supporting the successful delivery of high-quality new homes across the North Midlands.”

Charlotte Goode, managing director at Persimmon Homes North Midlands, added: “His extensive technical experience will be a real asset to the business, and we look forward to him working to support the successful delivery of our developments and help drive continued growth across the region.”
