Plans submitted for 190-home Coalville scheme
Housebuilder Honey has exchanged contracts on a 14.5-acre site in Leicestershire, where it wants to build a £54.7m residential development.
An application for outline planning permission for the plot off Beveridge Lane in Coalville has been submitted to North West Leicestershire District Council this month, set to form part of Harworth Group’s wider Swinfen Vale masterplan.
The Swinfen Vale scheme, being built in conjunction with Bloor, Davidsons Group and SECP received approval in 2016 – and will see 2,016 houses built across a 440-acre site in the south of the town alongside a primary school and a local centre.
Since its launch in October 2022, Honey has secured 31 immediate sites throughout the Midlands and Yorkshire that will deliver 4,677 homes with a combined gross development value of £1.4bn.
The firm is backed by private equity firm Alchemy Partners and its Alchemy Special Opportunities Fund IV, which has £937m of fully committed capital.
