Raynor takes over at IPF as Devaney steps away
Tim Rayner, a partner in Hill Dickinson’s real estate disputes team, has been appointed chair of the Midlands region of the Investment Property Forum, after Skylark Real Estate’s Jonathan Devaney stepped down.
Rayner has been a board member for three years and takes the reins as the IPF, the membership organisation for property investment professionals, prepares to complete its merger with the Association of Real Estate Funds (AREF) and the British Property Federation (BPF), creating a new organisation to represent the interests of the UK real estate industry.
Devaney relinquishes the role after two years as chair.
Three new members have also been welcomed to the board of the organisation. Hannah Badger is a director in the residential capital markets team at CBRE, Richard Durkin heads Lambert Smith Hampton’s Midlands capital markets team, while Paul Lloyd is a real estate partner at Freeths.
“I’d like to thank Jonathan for steering the ship over the last couple of years and to welcome Hannah, Paul and Richard,” said Rayner.
“I look forward to their contribution as we continue to champion the commercial property sector across the Midlands.”
