Sandyford Properties picks up Black Country industrial
The specialist in UK multi-let sites has acquired a commercial terrace in the Mucklow Hill area of Halesowen for £3.4m.
The purpose-built industrial terrace, comprising Units 1–6 Chancel Way, extends to approximately 44,000 sq ft, and is fully occupied by three long-standing manufacturing businesses across six units, two of which benefit from their own secure, fenced yards.
Sandyford acquired the property off-market from a private family property company.
Sandyford was advised by FHP, with legal advice provided by Hill Dickinson.
This acquisition marks Sandyford’s first buy in the area, complementing its core holdings in Staffordshire and Cheshire and supporting its strategy to grow its footprint across the wider Midlands and North West.
Paul Brindley, managing director of Sandyford Properties, said: “Chancel Way is exactly the type of asset we look for – well-maintained, purpose-built industrial space in a proven location, with a strong underlying income profile and clear potential to drive future growth.
“This acquisition supports our ongoing shift toward higher quality, reversionary stock and further strengthens the resilience of our portfolio”.
