Former recycling site hits the market for £2.8m

A ‘prominent’ four-acre former industrial site in the Black Country has gone up for sale, after the site’s former operators announced a move to new premises.

The Metal & Waste Recycling Centre on Powke Lane in Cradley Heath, formerly the home of Bloomfield Resources, is being marketed by Birmingham-based agency Shepherd Commercial.

The freehold site forming primarily an open yard, with designated processing areas, concrete storage bays and space suitable for HGV access and movement. It also benefits from a 600 kVA power supply, supporting a wide range of industrial and commercial uses, according to Ross Bendall, director at Shepherd Commercial.

“We have had a number of enquiries already from developers, investors and potential owner-occupiers, and look forward to seeing the direction the site takes,” he said.

“We advise our clients by applying the same strategies and exit-focused thinking used by banks and funds, prioritising long-term solutions for all parties, and this site has fantastic potential given its size, accessibility and location.”

Surrounding occupiers include a mix of industrial, trade and commercial businesses, making the location suitable for a variety of industrial and open storage uses, the agents added.

Further information is available via Shepherd Commercial’s website.
