Partridge lands at Redford as finance director
Warwickshire-based Redford Developments has appointed former Lovell Partnerships finance chief, Phil Partridge.
Prior to his four and a half years at Lovell, Partridge was also director of finance for Catesby Estates, part of Urban & Civic, having been promoted from group finance officer in 2019.
He is a Chartered Accountant with a total of 25 years of finance experience.
Richard Mees, Chief Executive of Redford Developments, said: “Phil and I worked together at Catesby Estates plc, which was previously owned by our Chairman Eric Grove, so Phil’s experience, skills and attitude is already well known to myself and the board at Redford Development Limited.
“We therefore couldn’t be happier with this appointment. Since we last worked together, Phil has gained invaluable experience in the housebuilding sector at Lovell Partnerships. Phil will be joining the board of Redford Developments Limited from day one and it is great to have him in the team.”
Redford Developments was formed in late 2025 with a retained portfolio of brownfield sites, following the sale of Rainier Developments in October 2025.
The firm has an active development portfolio across the midlands, including a recently-consented 400-bed PBSA in Coventry, and a 300-unit co-living scheme at Waterway House in Nottingham.
“Joining a newly formed business after 13 years of working for plcs is an exciting change, especially as I know Richard and Eric so well,” added Partridge.
“The opportunity to be part of a senior team who have already acquired a number of nationally significant sites for redevelopment really appealed to me. I look forward to structuring many more deals, working alongside consultants, partners, funders and housebuilders.”
