Rappor strengthens with environmental team hire

Nottingham-based Chris Dodd has been appointed as director of water environment at South Midlands consultancy, Rappor.

Dodd joins from BWB Consulting where he spent more than a decade, rising from engineer to service director during a 14-year stint with the firm.

Dodd’s industry experience spans a portfolio of residential, commercial, industrial and energy projects, including new settlements, nationally significant infrastructure projects, flood risk mitigation and river restoration schemes.

“In an era of heightened environmental scrutiny, water management is becoming the defining factor in advancing modern development. Water is no longer a problem to be pushed to the edge of a site or placed underground, it’s an increasingly scarce resource that should be used to enhance developments and create better places,” said Dodd.

“Pushing beyond traditional drainage design and integrating this thinking at Rappor allows us to de-risk complex sites while delivering infrastructure that genuinely improves the natural environment.”
