Savills appointed at East Midlands Designer Outlet
Savills has been appointed by Frasers Group to provide property management services at East Midlands Designer Outlet in South Normanton, Derbyshire.
The consultancy will oversee the day-to-day management and operation of the 170,000 sq ft retail destination, working alongside Frasers Group, asset manager Global Mutual and occupiers to support the centre’s ongoing performance.
Located off Junction 28 of the M1, the outlet attracts around 3.5 million visitors a year and is home to more than 65 retail units and 10 food and beverage operators. Brands at the scheme include Calvin Klein, Tommy Hilfiger, Adidas, Rituals, Wagamama, Slim Chickens and Five Guys.
Savills said its role will focus on delivering a high-quality experience for visitors, retailers and hospitality operators while supporting the continued success of the outlet, which has recently recorded growth in footfall, turnover and average customer spend.
“East Midlands Designer Outlet is a strong and well-established retail destination with excellent accessibility, a compelling occupier mix and a rich local heritage,” said Jenny Banks, director of property management at Savills.
“We are pleased to be working with Frasers Group to support the continued success of the scheme and deliver best-in-class property management services across the outlet.”
The appointment follows Frasers Group’s acquisition of the outlet in April, and Savills recent appointment by Frasers Group at Swindon Designer Outlet.
