Blueprint signs off on £1m Coventry office refit

Training and qualifications body Lantra says a major reboot of its Stoneleigh Park HQ marks a ‘pivotal moment’ for the organisation as it hits its 60th year.

Leicestershire-based Blueprint Interiors was appointed to rework the firm’s 1980s-era offices, around five miles from Coventry city centre, replacing an outdated layout with an open-plan refresh featuring a range of flexible spaces designed to encourage interaction.

The Lantra team played a central role in shaping the project through surveys, a design council and wider engagement, ensuring the finished space reflects real working patterns while building a strong sense of ownership across the organisation, according to David Cooke, director of finance and operations.

“As we reached the incredible milestone of 60 years, it felt like the perfect time to create a workplace that truly works for our team, one that supports efficiency but is also a more enjoyable place to be. We’re already seeing the benefits, with more natural, informal interaction happening every day.

“This new workplace reflects how Lantra is evolving, we’re more connected, more collaborative and focused on the future. By investing in our people and our environment, we’ve created a space that supports our long-term ambitions while reinforcing our commitment to the region.”

Upgrades include UK-sourced timber, improved double glazing and solar panels to improve energy performance and reduce reliance on traditional systems. A new electric climate system enhances efficiency and comfort, while EV charging points and water-efficient systems further strengthen the building’s environmental credentials.

Chloe Sproston, Creative Director at Blueprint Interiors, added: “This has been a fantastic journey with the Lantra team. Through detailed consultation, we shaped a workspace around real people and real working patterns, while ensuring long-term flexibility as the organisation grows.

“The result is a future-ready workplace that can adapt over time and truly reflects Lantra’s culture and ambition. It’s been a pleasure to work with everyone involved.”
