BSN Group eyes further growth after posting record turnover
Dudley-based contractor BSN Group has seen year-on-year turnover almost double to £45m in its most recent annual figures, as the firm re-iterated its sustainable growth plans.
The business says the figures were boosted by major projects for Birmingham Children’s Hospital, Tamworth Borough Council, Stoke-on-Trent City Council, University Hospitals of Derby & Burton NHS Trust in 2025.
Meanwhile, the strategic appointment of joint managing director Nick Gibb to the board alongside founder Darren Perry and group commercial director Jennifer Reynolds is set to be vital in driving the business towards its next phase of growth, according to Perry.
“The priority for 2026 and beyond is to continue to grow sustainably,” he said.
“For us, 2025 was about taking strategic decisions to bolster and strengthen our offering both in terms of the people on our team and the sectors in which we operate, and we are looking to continue in that vein with further senior appointments in the coming months.
“The delivery of flagship projects such as The Drey Hotel in London for Cerberus and key student accommodation projects in Dundee and Newcastle have helped build our ever-growing portfolio of work across the Midlands and beyond, and these were critical to our turnover growth in 2025.”
The BSN group of business, which includes healthcare, heritage, engineering, and electrical contracting arms, employs around 80 people at its Brierley Hill base.
“As we continue to grow, increasing our headcount with the right people is a key priority, alongside maintaining the high standards we set ourselves. We are also incredibly proud of our supply chain partners, many of whom have grown alongside us and share our belief in what we are building at BSN,” he added.
“We now have a true array of projects across the country, and when you supplement that with our deep expertise and long-term relationships in the healthcare sector, it adds up to a strong pipeline of future work.
“These businesses form a key part of our strategic growth plans for 2026 and beyond, with the impact of the acquisition of our engineering arm in particular likely to deliver significant growth over the next twelve months.”
