Wholesaler picks up Smethwick site
Cash-and-carry operator, All Trade Distributors, has agreed a 10-year lease on 23,400 sq ft at Rabone Park outside Birmingham.
The unit was let by Allied International Trading, and the quoting rent was £9.50/sq ft.

Rabone Park is an ideal location for our expansion, situated within an established wholesale area with excellent transport links. We’re investing significantly in creating a modern wholesale and distribution operation and look forward to welcoming trade customers when we open.”
Rabone Park is an established industrial location off Rabone Lane in Smethwick, with access to Junction 1 of the M5. Birmingham city centre is 1.5 miles to the east.
Neighbouring occupiers on the estate include East End Wholesale, Dhamecha, Aurubis UK, The Dodd Group and Supertouch.
Ed Kennerley, director of BOX4 Real Estate, acted on behalf of the landlord in the transaction. Kennerley said: “Demand for good quality industrial and warehouse space of this size in the Black Country market remains extremely strong.”
