Marq completes major warehouse letting in Corby
Chinese third-party logistics firm Super Smart Services is understood to be the end user for a 660,000 sq ft industrial unit at Magna Park.
Marq Logistics said it had agreed a lease on its MPC 2 distribution facility with a major international e-commerce fulfilment and logistics provider serving cross-border businesses and UK online retailers.
Other tenants on Marq Logistics’ 4.5m sq ft Corby park, built on the site of a former Northamptonshire Quarry, include Nike and Bleckmann.
This deal follows several other large leasing agreements by Marq Logistics this year, including the 388,000 sq ft Royal Mail letting at Chatterley Valley in Staffordshire in September, and the 761,000 sq ft Bleckmann letting at Magna Park North Lutterworth in April.
Bruce Topley, UK managing director for Marq Logistics, said: “We are delighted to complete yet another significant leasing as we accelerate our momentum in the UK, a key market in which Marq Logistics Magna Park Corby stands out as a go-to location for large logistics operations.
“MPC 2 offers the scale, connectivity, and operational strength required to support the growth ambitions of both national and international businesses across a range of sectors. Looking ahead, we are fully focused on capturing the opportunities presented by deep occupier demand for high quality, sustainable logistics space across the UK.”
