Erdgard plans £36m logistics hub at former Lloyds HQ

An application has been submitted for three units at Pendeford Business Park in Wolverhampton, ranging from 21,000 to 80,000 sq ft.

Industrial & Logistics specialist Erdgard Development, in partnership with Wolverhampton-based Richardson’s, has submitted plans for the new scheme – set to be known as Pulse Wolverhampton – for the 10-acre site, formerly home to the Lloyds Banking Group.

Richardson’s reportedly snapped up the Wobaston Road site last year, after Lloyds had quit its purpose-built premises in 2024 as part of an office rationalisation programme.

If approved, the BREEAM Excellent-rated units will be available for occupation in Q3 2027.

Allan Wilson, Director at Erdgard said: “We are excited by the prospect of bringing this redundant site back into beneficial use. If approved, the application will enable the development of three high-quality industrial and logistics units in an outstanding working environment.”

Savills and CBRE have been appointed at joint leasing agents for the development.
