Lambkin signs up to bolster Caddick’s East Midlands push
Mark Lambkin will leave Bowmer & Kirkland after more than a decade to become Caddick’s construction director in the East Midlands, as the contractor targets a growing pipeline of work across the region.
Lambkin rose from project manager to senior contracts manager over a 13-year spell with Bowmer & Kirkland, overseeing major schemes across the North West and Midlands.
The appointment follows Caddick’s move to strengthen its East Midlands operation, led by regional managing director Paul Sykes, who joined the business in May.
Lambkin brings more than 30 years’ industry experience, having started out on a City & Guilds apprenticeship in Sheffield before moving into site management across residential and retail fit-out projects.
His previous work includes Capital&Centric’s £60m Goods Yard build-to-rent scheme in Stoke-on-Trent and IQ Echo Street, a £130m high-rise student accommodation scheme in Manchester.

Lambkin will oversee projects from pre-construction through to completion, working with clients and project teams on delivery, safety and compliance, the firm says.
The company said his experience with the Building Safety Act and the gateway approval process would also support its work on complex developments.
