Clowes plans ‘flagship’ speculative unit at Fairham
Clowes Developments is planning to speculatively develop a 47,333 sq ft industrial and warehouse at Fairham Business Park in Nottingham, as part of the second phase of the scheme.
Unit D1 is currently being marketed to occupiers and will be developed as a B2 and B8 facility with office space, set to include a 750 kVA power supply, 10-metre eaves, four dock loading doors and two level-access doors, along with a secure service yard and car parking.
The building is targeting a BREEAM Excellent rating and EPC A.
FHP Property Consultants has been appointed as letting agent for the development, which is planned alongside two other facilities expected to be delivered on a pre-let basis as part of the expansion of the park, with the occupiers due to be announced in the coming weeks.
Current occupiers at Fairham Business Park include Ocado, and eyewear firm EssilorLuxottica.

More than 600,000 sq ft of commercial space has already been developed at Fairham Business Park, which forms part of the wider Fairham masterplan.
The development is located on the southern edge of Nottingham in Rushcliffe, adjacent to the A453 Remembrance Way and close to the NET tram terminus at Clifton.
The wider Fairham scheme includes up to 3,000 homes, a neighbourhood centre, health centre, primary school and up to one million sq ft of employment space. More than £100 million is being invested in infrastructure across the development.
