Caddick gets going at Nottingham rehab clinic
Work on a purpose-built £30m addiction clinic is now under way in Arnold, with completion earmarked for the end of next year.
Caddick Construction is now on site at the former fire service headquarters site on Bestwood Lodge Drive, following its appointment as principal contractor.
The firm completed the demolition of former fire buildings at the 12-acre site earlier this year.
The clinic, which is being delivered on behalf of Delamere Health, will provide specialist care to people experiencing addiction and will comprise 32 residential rooms with supporting treatment spaces, communal areas, landscaped court yards and therapy gardens.
Once completed, up to 400 addiction patients every year will pass through the doors of the new clinic.
The site had been unoccupied since 2023, when the fire service quit the premises for a joint headquarters arrangement with Nottinghamshire Police at Sherwood Lodge.

The development marks the first project for Caddick to commence work following the appointment of regional managing director, Paul Sykes.

The Nottingham facility will become Delamere’s second site in the UK. It currently operates from a single purpose-built facility in Northwich, Cheshire, which opened in 2020.
