Plans in for 123-home Mansfield housing development
Persimmon Homes has put forward plans to build more than a hundred homes on a Nottinghamshire housing estate.
Under proposals submitted to Mansfield District Council, 123 houses would be built on former industrial land to the north of Jenford Street in Ladybrook, around one mile west of Mansfield town centre.
The plans propose a mix of homes, ranging from 1 to 4-bedroom houses including detached, semi-detached, bungalows and terraced homes, including 10% affordable housing on the proposed scheme.
As part of the development proposals, Persimmon has also included a multi-use games area along with outdoor gym equipment as part of what it describes as an active fitness trail.
George Breed Head of Planning at Persimmon Nottingham, said: “We’re excited to bring forward these plans for high-quality new homes in Ladybrook.
“With a clear need for new housing, these proposals would deliver a wide range of energy efficient homes for local home buyers.
“We’re looking forward to working with the council, stakeholders and the local community to bring these plans to fruition.”
