Rappor founder swaps seats to fill chief executive role
South Midlands engineering and environmental consultancy Rappor has announced that its founder, Adam Padmore, will transition from the role of managing director to chief executive officer.
Since founding Rappor in Cheltenham in 2014, Padmore has been the driving force behind turning the business into a national success story, operating from 10 locations around the UK, including offices in Birmingham and Hereford.
“When we started Rappor it was never about reaching any size or scale; it was purely about the value we could create through investing in people and partnership,” said Padmore.
“In professional terms, leading Rappor has become my life’s work. While I still have much to learn this change fills me with excitement, and I can’t wait to lean in and develop myself in the role knowing there’s the support of so many great people around me.
“I’ve always believed our potential is limitless as long as we don’t lose our soul along the way. That last bit is crucial. Stepping into the CEO role is really about me getting out of the weeds so I can protect that spark. It provides the space to look further down the road, ensuring we stay true to the values that got us here while having the courage to chase our collective goals.”
