Caddick expands base as Midlands pipeline targets £1bn
Caddick Construction has expanded its Birmingham presence, upgrading to a larger office on Temple Street as it scales up operations in the Midlands.
The contractor has moved from a 900 sq ft suite to a 2,590 sq ft space within the same building, where it first launched in 2023 with a 10-strong team. The new office now accommodates more than 75 staff, increasing desk capacity by nearly 80% and adding a third meeting room to support growth.
The expansion comes as Caddick reports a £1bn target pipeline and a £300m forward order book in the region.
Current projects include Cole Waterhouse’s £43m Upper Trinity Street scheme in Digbeth and the nearby Stone Yard development for Moda Living and Aviva Capital, alongside a £28m logistics scheme in Wolverhampton and a £20m healthcare project in Nottinghamshire.
“We have seen tremendous growth in our project portfolio and in the talented team we’ve formed over the last two years,” said Ray O’Sullivan, regional managing director at Caddick Construction Midlands.
“The new space is vital for facilitating the next phase of our expansion, creating a dynamic and collaborative environment to strengthen our growing team and continue providing exceptional service and delivery for our clients. It will also enable us to fulfill our commitment to supporting the local economy and communities.”
