Form Property picked for first phase of Upper Trinity Street

Form Property has been appointed to launch the first 211 apartments on a residential-led regeneration scheme in east Birmingham.

The first phase of the £260m Corstophine & Wright-designed Upper Trinity Street development in Digbeth is due for completion in 2027, with the wider project set to include more than 900 residential apartments alongside a 133-bed hotel and around 63,000 sq ft of office space.

The scheme is currently under construction by Caddick Construction on behalf of a joint-venture between Manchester-based Cole Waterhouse, Taurus Investment Holdings and Lloyds-backed investment group, Housing Growth Partnership.

Planning permission for the redevelopment of a five-acre plot in Upper Trinity Street, a former industrial area near Birmingham’s Custard Factory, was granted in 2023 following around five years of discussions between Cole Waterhouse and Birmingham City Council.

The site is around half a mile from Curzon Street HS2 station.
