Lomond snaps up Nottingham-based FHP Living
Independent lettings business FHP Living will become part of John Shepherd, continuing the brand’s growth following the acquisitions of Uni2rent and Tassi.
FHP Living, founded in 2000 by David Hargreaves, John Proctor and Brian Fisher, began as a residential development advisory firm in Nottingham’s Lace Market before evolving into a full-service property agency offering sales, lettings and property management.
The acquisition brings FHP Living under the umbrella of Nottingham-based John Shepherd, Lomond’s flagship East Midlands brand. The firm will continue as a residential sales and development consultancy working out of the West Bridgford office under the leadership of Jules Hunt and Jason Cook.
Expanding Lomond also acquired student lettings firm Uni2Rent last year, around 12 months after it completed a deal for fellow Nottinghamshire company, Tassi Sales and Lettings.
“FHP Living represents exactly the kind of business we seek to bring on board: locally trusted, client-focused and excellent at what they do,” said David French, head of John Shepherd – East Midlands.
“Their ability to offer a wide range of property services in the Nottingham area, backed by strong client and staff loyalty, is a testament to the brand they have built. By combining their local expertise with the scale of John Shepherd and the wider Group, we’re creating a business that’s better equipped to support landlords through the sector’s ongoing regulatory evolution.”
Luke Pritchett, Director of FHP Living, will remain with the business following the acquisition.
“We have more tools, more expertise and more support to draw on – which means landlords will get an even stronger service as the market keeps changing. I’m looking forward to being part of that for our clients going into the next chapter,” he said.
