TCC picked for Walsall’s Central Point I&L

Birmingham-based consultancy TCC has been appointed as project manager, quantity surveyor and employers agent to the £22m Erdgard logistics scheme on Willenhall Road.

Planning consent for the 100,000 sq ft development was granted by Walsall Council in April, and work got under way at the site last month.

The development, due for completion early in 2027, will provide six industrial units from 6,000 sq ft to 25,000 sq ft aimed at industrial, trade and logistics operators, set to be built to very high environmental and energy efficiency standards.

The main contractor for the site is the Warwick-based MCS Group. Lettings are being handled by JLL and Newmark.

TCC co-founder and director Sandeep Singh Sunner said: “Central Point is exactly the kind of speculative development the Midlands badly needs just now. There is a shortage of developments like this in the area and we are delighted to be involved in this exciting project which will make a major contribution to Walsall’s regeneration.”

“The units will be built to a high quality specification, providing sustainable industrial space in a great location.”

Headquartered in Bennett’s Hill, TCC is a multi-disciplined consultancy providing specialist project management, quantity-surveying, employers agent, building surveying and health and safety services to a wide range of sectors.

Erdgard is also developing a 10-acre mid-box scheme at Pendeford Business Park in Wolverhampton, on a former Lloyds bank headquarters.
