Erdgard and Richardson line up £51m Brackmills I&L
Erdgard and Richardson have unveiled their second large industrial and logistics scheme in quick succession, after submitting plans for a three-unit industrial development in Northampton.
If approved by West Northamptonshire Council, Platform, Brackmills will see the units, ranging from 46,400 sq. ft to 76,500 sq. ft, built on an 11.5-acre site, with a target completion date of late 2027.
Erdgard announced it had bought up the site, on the edge of Brackmills Industrial Estate, in October last year.
The scheme comes hot on the heels of Erdgard and Richardson submitted plans for a £36m logistics hub at a former Lloyds Bank office building at Pendeford Business Park in Wolverhampton, announced earlier this week.
Gareth Williams, Director at Erdgard said: “Having acquired vacant buildings late last year, we are pleased to have submitted an application that if approved, will bring this site back into beneficial use through the development of a high-quality employment scheme.
“Brackmills is home to several high-profile occupiers, and its strategic location will also prove popular with occupiers looking for a superior working environment.”
Newmark, Savills and TDB Real Estate have been appointed at joint leasing agents at Platform, Brackmills.
