Nick Scali signs for A45 corridor shed

Developer and investor Hillwood has agreed terms to bring the furniture retailer to an 80,000 unit at the Quattro Raunds logistics hub in Northamptonshire.

Q80 Quattro Raunds comprises 80,747 sq ft. Hillwood said that “speed and certainty of occupation was critical to the occupier, who had an urgent need for existing space”.

The parties were able to tie up a deal that allowed occupation within five days of agreeing heads of terms.

The unit is part of the wider Quattro scheme comprising four mid-box units in total ranging from 10,867 to 117,552 sq ft, built on a speculative basis and completed in March this year.

Q80 was only vacant for six weeks post-practical completion.

Hillwood added that three units remain, with BREEAM Excellent certification and EPC A ratings.

Adjoining the A45, opposite the established Warth Park, the Quattro development provides a strategic location with strong transport links to Northamptonshire and the Midlands as well as the East of England via the A14.

Hillwood UK was represented by Bidwells and M1 Agency as retained joint letting agents, while CBRE acted on the Nick Scali side.
