Hanley industrial park sold off in undisclosed deal
A Stoke on Trent trading estate has been sold to undisclosed new owners in an off-market deal.
The 2.43-acre site on Botteslow Street in Hanley includes 22 fully occupied units over 46,334 sq ft of industrial floorspace, and generates around £215,000 every year in rental income.
However in a trading update in October, former owners Sandyford Properties said the estate no longer meets their profile of “modern, purpose-built” multi-let industrial estates.
The sale was completed by Cheshire-based agents Legat Owen, acting on behalf of Sandyford Properties, with the value of the deal and the buyer’s identity undisclosed.
Rupert Chadwick-Dunbar, chartered surveyor at Legat Owen, said: “We’re delighted to have concluded the sale of Trent Trading Estate on behalf of Sandyford Properties.
“The estate’s strong occupancy, income stream and location made it a compelling proposition for investors. This transaction reflects the continued demand for multi-let industrial assets in regional markets.”
