Trio step up in reshuffle at BSP Consulting
Civil engineering firm BSP Consulting has appointed three new directors as part of a senior leadership shake-up across its East Midlands offices.
Carol Ell, Monika Anszperger and James Payne have all been promoted from within the business, where they are established senior figures. The changes come into effect from 1 April 2026.
Ell, based in Leicester, becomes director of civils, bringing expertise in flood risk and drainage strategy. Anszperger, who joined in 2014, will lead the Derby office, drawing on experience in complex structural design across multiple sectors. Nottingham-based Payne, who started as an apprentice in 2001, steps up to director with responsibility for IT and administration.
The appointments coincide with the transition of two longstanding directors. Founding director Clive Roddick will move into a consultancy role, while Tony Goddard retires after more than 20 years with the firm.
Carl Hilton, managing director at BSP Consulting said: “Carol, Monika and James have each been with BSP for a number of years and are already well-respected senior leaders within the business.
“They have made significant contributions to the company’s management and effectiveness and have consistently demonstrated strong leadership, professionalism and commitment to our core values and long-term success.
“We’re really pleased they are embracing their new roles and wish them every success in helping to drive the continued growth and success of the business.”
