WSP makes Temple executive managing director
Andy Temple’s new role will see him leverage his more than 20 years of experience to support the strategic growth of the global consultancy’s property and building team.
Temple replaces Kamran Moazami in the role of executive managing director for property and buildings. Moazami has become executive design principal.
Temple has been with WSP for 12 years, joining as an associate director in 2013 from DSSR. In 2016, WSP chose Temple to lead the building services team in Manchester as a director. Seven years later, Temple was promoted again to senior operations director within the property and building division.
Paul Reilly, president and managing director for WSP UK & Ireland, said: “As an already accomplished leader, I am confident Andy will build on the strong foundations of our property and buildings business and continue to deliver exceptional outcomes for our clients and communities.”
WSP’s property and building team works on a wide variety of projects – including high-rise, data centres, heritage, and healthcare. Services on offer include sustainable building design and construction, structural engineering, urban design and urban planning, MEP, and town planning.
Here in the North West, recent projects from WSP include Seddon Homes’ application for 420 homes in Crewe, Eden Project Morecambe, and the revamp of Bootle Strand.
Temple said: ” I’m thrilled to take on this role, leading a dynamic and diverse team focused on delivering holistic engineering and total solutions. I’m looking forward to driving strategic growth and strengthening client relationships through continuing to deliver innovative designs and world-class outcomes.”
WSP has 73,000 employees across the globe. In the UK, the consultancy operates out of offices in 31 cities, including Birmingham, Manchester, Leeds, Liverpool, Newcastle upon Tyne, Nottingham, Teesside, and Wrexham.
