AYBL picks Solihull for headquarters move
Activewear brand AYBL will relocate its main offices from Redditch, after snapping up the 21,000 sq ft former St James’ Place capital building on Blythe Valley Business Park.
The firm says it will transform the offices into a Grade A standard headquarters for its “growing team and expanding operations”, after commercial real estate firm, CBRE, completed the sale for an undisclosed sum.
St James’s Place quit the premises in 2024, heading across Blythe Valley Park to move in with Siemens and Gymshark at One Central Boulevard as part of a regional office shakeup.
The building, now rebranded as Juniper House, is estimated to be valued in the region of £5m.
Blythe Valley is a mixed-use business park which boasts direct access to the M42, and is located ten minutes from Solihull town centre, the NEC, Birmingham Airport and Birmingham International train station. Its strategic location will connect AYBL to top talent and a thriving business ecosystem, according to owner Kristian Edgerton.
“Our new headquarters mark an exciting milestone for AYBL, and a real investment in our future,” he said.
“As we continue to grow, we were looking for a space that would not only support our growing team and expanding operations, but that reflects our brand culture and vision.
“Juniper at Blythe Valley Park will tick all these boxes, offering everything from excellent transport connectivity to access to exceptional talent, and we’re looking forward to entering into this new chapter.”
Michelle Mills, Director in CBRE’s Office Advisory and Transaction Services Team, added: “It’s been a pleasure to support AYBL in finding its new office headquarters during such an exciting stage of growth for the business.
“We’re continuing to see strong, sustained demand for premium office space across the Midlands, and ambitious brands are increasingly choosing Solihull in particular as their base for growth. With exceptional connectivity and a dynamic business community, Blythe Valley Park offers the ideal space to help drive growth and support AYBL’s long-term ambitions.”
