Richborough brings in Myatt as finance chief

Land promoter Richborough has appointed Richard Myatt as chief financial officer as part of plans to scale up its residential and commercial land portfolio.

A chartered accountant who qualified with Ernst & Young, Myatt brings more than 30 years’ experience in senior finance leadership roles, with a strong track record of supporting growth in complex, multi-site businesses.

His previous roles include finance director positions at Jewson and SIG plc, alongside CFO appointments at Palletways, National Timber Group and Sentry Fire Safety Group.

At Richborough, he will lead the company’s financial strategy as it scales operations across an expanding pipeline of residential and commercial sites, based from the firm’s Birmingham office.

“I’m particularly drawn to the entrepreneurial nature of the business and the opportunity to work closely with people across the organisation to understand what drives its success,” he said.

“My focus will be on ensuring the business remains resilient, with the financial strength to continue growing its portfolio and delivering for landowners, partners and investors.”
