Harley Haddow launches Birmingham office with 11-strong team
Engineering consultancy Harley Haddow has opened its Temple Row office as part of its plans for further regional growth.
The firm provides mechanical, electrical and public health engineering consultancy for buildings, advising public- and private-sector clients on building performance and efficiency.
The firm has taken space at Runway East in the city centre, and will operate its eighth UK office from the city, marking its third new location in four years.
The 11-strong Midlands team is led by director Scott Lydon, supported by regional director Jeremy Silvester.
Scott Lydon, director at Harley Haddow, said: “We know the regional market and its players very well and that, supported by the solid foundations of a 76-year-old business, is a recipe for success.
“Harley Haddow’s tactical move will ensure continuity across the built environment and provide a strong platform for growth.”
Jim Kellachan, director at Harley Haddow, added: “Establishing a Birmingham operation was the natural next step in our expansion plans and it’s very opportune to have acquired an established team that’s ready to go.
“As a business committed to sustainability, it’s important for us to have the right people in the right places and the skills and geographic footprint provided by a new Birmingham operation will further strengthen the company.”
