Morris breaks ground on Craemer office build
Work to build a near 3000 sq ft office extension at a Telford plastics manufacturer is under way, as the firm bids to boost its capacity.
Shropshire-based Morris Construction has moved on site at Craemer’s Hortonwood West factory, after a single-storey office extension was given the green light by planners in August last year.
The two firms last worked together in 2022, when Morris built a major storage yard extension at the 13-acre plant.
Steve Flavell, construction manager at Morris Property, said: “We’re delighted to be back on site with Craemer, building on the successful relationship we’ve established over recent years.

“This new office extension has been designed to integrate seamlessly with their existing facilities while providing the flexibility they need to expand in the future. It’s a pleasure to support a business that continues to invest in Telford and its workforce.”
The factory opened in 2019, and produces plastic pallets, pallet boxes, plastic containers and wheelie bins for a range of clients, including local authorities.
The extension project is due to be completed by the end of the year.
Steve Poppitt, managing director at Craemer UK, added: “The new office space will enhance the working environment for our teams while providing additional capacity to support our continued growth. It is great to see work now underway, and we look forward to the next stage of development at our site.”
