Settio sets up in Birmingham

The residential lettings and management business has opened an office at 55 Colmore Row to serve a rising number of investors and tenants in the city.

Overseen by the high-end market-focused firm’s experienced London manager, Matt Harkin, the team in Birmingham will deliver industry-leading service experience to landlords, partners and tenants alike, Settio said.

Settio has operated in Birmingham since 2022 but has decided to fully commit to the city, opening a permanent location due to a growing client base and its continued diversification of investments between Manchester, London and Birmingham.

The firm’s property portfolio in Birmingham is dominated by premium new build sites, including Glasswater Locks and Snow Hill Wharf by Berkeley St Joseph; and South Central by Regal Property Group, alongside Wavensmere’s The Forge in Digbeth, RPGL’s The Bank and Galliard Homes’ East Timber Yard.

Founded in Manchester in 2017 and with offices in London and Singapore supporting investors in the capital and Asia-Pacific region, Settio employs more than 50 staff to support more than 2,500 clients with a comprehensive sales, lettings and management package for UK residential investments.

Daniel de Abreu, managing director of Settio, said: “Having enjoyed a satellite presence in Birmingham for several years, now was the right time to cement our presence with a permanent home to serve the needs of our investors and tenants in a property investment hot-spot.

“We take great pride in delivering an exceptional property experience for investors and tenants, with a culture of professionalism, excellence, transparency, collaboration, innovation and client care. These core values drive our growth, enhance our reputation and guide every decision we make, setting a new benchmark for excellence in UK residential property.”
