Anchor completes Sutton Coldfield homes
The £35.9m development of Coles House and Mill Place was delivered by Deeley Construction and is the biggest development by value in Anchor’s 90-year history.
The development includes 85 social rent and 52 older person’s shared ownership apartments for people aged over 55. Residents will benefit from a café, lounge, beauty salon, and landscaped gardens.
Construction of Coles House and Mill Place began in March 2024, and the first residents are due to move in soon.
Alex Whittle, senior development manager for Anchor, said: “The completion of our Sutton Coldfield development marks an exciting milestone for Anchor. Our aim with this site was to provide high-quality homes for older people within a peaceful yet vibrant community, and the development has delivered exactly that.
“It also supports our ambition to provide 500 new homes each year. We look forward to welcoming our new residents and ensuring they receive the very best service as part of our commitment to providing homes where people love living in later life.”
Anchor has further active developments in Weymouth and Idle, Bradford. The group serves more than 65,000 residents in almost 55,000 homes across 1,700 locations.
