Keepmoat launches 147-home residential scheme

The house builder has revealed plans to deliver 147 homes in St Neots as part of the wider 2,800-home Wintringham development.

Located off Nuffield Road, the scheme represents an investment of more than £27m and will comprise a mix of one- to four-bedroom homes across a range of tenures. Of the total, 19 properties will be affordable homes delivered through a local housing association.

The housebuilder is working in partnership with Urban&Civic, with the homes forming part of the second phase of delivery at Wintringham.

Victor Idowu, regional managing director at Keepmoat South Midlands, said: “We’re delighted to be working in partnership with Urban&Civic and Huntingdonshire District Council to continue the investment and quality of place coming forward in this exciting new part of St Neots.

“This scheme represents a major investment in the area and at Keepmoat, we’re committed to making a positive and lasting contribution to the areas in which we build. Throughout the scheme, our partnership-led approach allows us to work closely with the council and local partners to create a thriving, well-connected community.”

Subject to planning approval from Huntingdonshire District Council, construction is expected to begin this summer, with the first homes due for completion before the end of the year.

Paul Murfin of Urban&Civic said: “We’re delighted to welcome Keepmoat and extend the house types and tenures available for new residents looking to join Wintringham’s welcoming and growing community.”
